K-ETA & e-Arrival Card — Important 2026/2027 Update
- Citizens of 25 listed countries and regions (incl. US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Poland — not Portugal or Ireland): K-ETA exempt until 31 December 2026. Other nationalities already need a K-ETA.
- From 1 January 2027: K-ETA will be required for most visa-free nationalities. Apply at k-eta.go.kr.
- e-Arrival Card: Mandatory for all visitors regardless of nationality — complete before landing.
- Always verify current rules with the Korea Immigration Service before travel.
